JOLAN welcomes submissions from all linguistic disciplines, not only
general linguistics (i.e. phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics)
but also philosophy of language, rhetoric, historical linguistics,
pragmatics, sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, cognitive
linguistics, psycholinguistics..
JOLAN (Journal of the Linguistic Association of Nigeria) is now a Free,
Open-access, Online Journal. From 2018, all issues of the journal will
be published on this website, and will be immediately accessible to linguists
the world over, without the need to register or subscribe.

The purpose of JOLAN is to publish articles of good quality and interest
in all aspects of language and linguistics. JOLAN was founded in 1980 by
